This Acceptable Usage Policy (AUP) summarizes the terms of
tolerable and prohibited uses of the HOST ADMINISTRATOR Network by HOST
ADMINSTRATOR patrons. HOST ADMINISTRATOR strictly adheres to all legal and
common ethical standards, therefore, inappropriate actions and misuse of this
site are forbidden. We reserve the right to change this policy at any time,
effective upon posting of the modified policy to this URL:

Illegal use: The HOST ADMINISTRATOR Network is
closely monitored to ensure against illegal use. Within this site, it is
prohibited to supply, retain, or share any material which is in direct violation
of any relevant local, state, and federal legislation. The following will not be
tolerated on the HOST ADMINISTRATOR Network:
- Any violation of confidentiality rights, export
control laws, or copyrighted and trademarked material, which would result
from not obtaining explicit authorized use.
- Any obscene, slanderous, threatening, or illegal
material.
- Any abusive actions such as harassment, knowingly or
negligently distributing a virus, forging contact information, and any other
behavior that infringes the rights of others within the Internet community.
These transgressions are set out as general guidelines of
non-tolerable use by the HOST ADMINISTRATOR Network but violating offenses are
not limited to the examples above.
System and network security: HOST ADMINISTRATOR
takes all reported violations of system and network security seriously;
therefore, all incidents will be investigated and detailed to authorities if
illegal activity is suspected. It is HOST ADMINISTRATOR’s policy to cooperate
with and assist law enforcement officials, when violations of security may
result in criminal or civil charges. Listed below are examples of security and
network breaches, which include, without limitation:
- Falsifying TCP-IP packet headers or identifying
information in postings and emails, or any other behavior that suggests the
intent of bypassing access limitations and restrictions within an otherwise
prohibited site.
- Accessing unauthorized data or files, with the
inclusion of any attempt to test the systems limits and security, without
permission from the network’s owner.
- Unauthorized surveillance of network or system data
traffic, including any interference with service to any user, host, or
network in the forms including, but not limited to, flooding, mail bombing,
and other deliberate attemts to overload a system with strategic attacks.
All users of HOST ADMINISTRATOR Networks are responsible
for making the proper arrangements to protect and secure their systems. HOST
ADMINISTRATOR will not be held responsible for system exploitations resulting
through neglect on any user’s behalf. All systems within HOST ADMINISTRATOR
Networks should be configured with anti-virus software to decrease potential
risks.
E-Mail: All patrons of HOST ADMINISTRATOR Networks
are subject to our stipulations and guidelines regarding distribution and use of
e-mail. In order to avoid negligently violating these guidelines, carefully
consider the following prohibited offenses, before e-mailing:
- Are you utilizing third parties in order to send out
commercial emails on any user’s behalf?
- Have you designed an e-mail server so that it can
accept third party forwarded e-mails?
- Are you attempting to use another site’s mail server
to relay mail without authorized use and permission?
- Are you attempting to distribute unsolicited mass or
commercial e-mails?
- Have you subscribed any e-mail address to mailing
lists without explicit permission of the address’s rightful owner?
Transferring unsolicited mail messages and breaching
another user’s e-mail account will not be tolerated within the HOST
ADMINISTRATOR Network.
Newsgroups: All posts within Usenet are subject to
HOST ADMINISTRATOR guidelines. All users are encouraged to familiarize
themselves completely with a newsgroup before posting, as to ensure their posts
are complying with all established rules of the newsgroup. If a user decides to
post within a newsgroup, they are subject to the following limitations:

There will be no allowance for repeat postings of the same
message, or one of similar content, to individual or multiple newsgroups. This
includes, but is not limited to, any posting made for commercial intent, ie.
informational advertisements, with or without a specific URL, except where such
postings are stated as permissible.

Excessive cross-postings and multiple-postings, also referred to
as SPAM, that are used to disrupt newsgroups, will be considered in direct
violation of HOST ADMINISTRATOR regulations.
·
Only authorized users can create, cancel, or remove newsgroups as
permitted.
HOST ADMINISTRATOR reserves the right to moderate and
determine the legitimacy of all newsgroups and subsequent posts.
ALL DIRECT AND ATTEMPTED VIOLATIONS OF THIS POLICY BY A HOST ADMINISTRATIVE
SERVICES USERS OR THIRD PARTIES ON BEHALF OF USER, WHETHER DUE TO INTENT OR
NEGLIGENCE, MAY RESULT IN IMMEDIATE SUSPENSION OR TEMINATION OF THE CUSTOMER’S
USAGE RIGHTS. IN ADDITION, THE CUSTOMER WILL BE HELD FINANCIALLY LIABLE FOR THE
FULL AMOUNT OF THE CONTRACT. A CUSTOMER’S RIGHTS TO THE USE OF THIS NETWORK AND
ITS SERVICES ARE SUBJECT TO ALL THE EXPRESSLY WRITTEN AND IMPLIED TERMS AND
CONDITIONS SET FORTH
IN THIS DOCUMENT. ALL NETWORK PROPERTY AND RIGHTS IN REGARDS TO THE SYSTEM ARE
UNDER THE EXCLUSIVE OWNERSHIP OF HOST ADMINISTRATOR NETWORKS. THESE PROPERTIES
INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: PROTOCOLS, IP ADDRESSES, CONFIGUREATIONS AND
ROUTING DATA RELATED TO SERVICES THAT ARE UNDER THE OWNERSHIP OF HOST
ADMINISTRATOR NETWORKS
